Dinner Deserves Dinner

Let’s be real—we’ve all been there. It’s midweek, you’ve survived the workday, and you’re staring into the fridge, debating if a handful of random snacks will count as dinner. Spoiler: it won’t.

At DIG, we believe dinner deserves dinner. A real meal shouldn’t be a last-minute scramble—it should be a mini celebration. Something that makes you feel like you’ve truly earned it after the grind of the day. Dinner is hot. Dinner is filling. Dinner is a treat (dessert included, of course), because, why not? You made it through another day.

 GIRL DINNER IS DEAD

We’re calling off sad, thrown-together dinner. You deserve better.

No shade to reheated pizza, or last night’s leftovers. But it can be a little… sad (don’t you think?).

Dinner should bring comfort, nourishment, and joy, not just fill a gap. Whether it’s leftovers or a snack plate, settling for less won’t cut it when you’re looking for weeknight dinner ideas or something substantial after a long day.

WHAT’S COOKING AT DIG THIS FALL?

There’s nothing sad about our new fall dinner menu. Think scratch-cooked, hearty meals with charred veggies, slow-cooked proteins, and indulgent sauces that don’t just satisfy—they nourish, comfort, and warm you up after a long day.

Hunting for fall dinner ideas, imagine Roasted Chicken thighs, Ginger Pumpkin Salmon, and Harissa Tofu. Whatever you’re craving, we’ve got you covered.

Sounds good, right?

See what’s cooking in the kitchen this evening:

  • Chicken Tray Bake: Tender roasted chicken thigh with a honey mustard glaze served over braised kale, sweet potatoes, and farro (10/10 dinner pick).

  • Ginger Pumpkin Salmon: Seared wild Alaskan salmon topped with a pumpkin ginger sauce, served over rice with charred broccoli and sweet potatoes (if you could taste fall, this would be it).

  • Chicken or Tofu Harissa: Roasted chicken thigh or crispy tofu and carrots smothered in a harissa preserved lemon sauce and served over a bed of fresh couscous (oh yes, Chef).

  • Pumpkin Spiced Loaf: For that sweet treat to wrap up the night. A seasonal pumpkin loaf with walnuts and dates.

So tonight, let’s agree on one thing: Dinner deserves dinner. More than easy dinners, treat yourself to something real, flavorful, and made just for you, just like home. You’ve earned it.

An overhead view of a fall dining table with several dishes. A person's arms, wearing a green sweater, are seen placing a plate of DIG’s chicken harissa on couscous with a spicy tomato sauce. Other dishes include roasted vegetables on rice, grilled chicken tray bake with kale, sweet potatoes, and lentils, as well as cornbread and a honey jar. A can of drink and various cutlery are also visible on the green checkered tablecloth.
