AUGUST Chef of the Month

Ladies and gents, gather 'round as we introduce August’s Chef of the Month: Eddie. Born in Texas and raised in Boston, Eddie grew up with a family that loved to cook. His uncle’s success in the restaurant industry and his mother’s love of cooking inspired him to pursue a life in the kitchen. He joined the DIG fa(r)m in 2022 and has since become a key leader in our Boston market. 

Eddie was nominated this month for his dedication to DIG’s value of “Bias for Over-Communication”. He doesn't preach – he leads by example, diving hands-on into training, daring to ask questions that matter, and weaving connections that bind his chefs and DIG guests together.

Eddie’s dedication to fostering a great DIG experience in Boston is infectious. His colleagues in Beantown echo this:

"Running a restaurant in an exterior market is not an easy task. Eddie communicates with everyone in the company via slack at a high level to remind the rest of the chefs that Boston is here, represented well, and kind of a big deal! He takes tons of pride in how his people are always in the know and it's appreciated throughout his entire restaurant staff.”
